Thelma's new home

Well, my sister Emily and I brought Thelma to Maine this weekend. Rob had planned on going, but Thursday night he fell out of his chair reaching to get the phone away from her, so we wasn't quite up for 6 hrs of driving.
Thelma went to my friend Charlene's in-laws in Harpswell, Maine. They live on an island and have a 101 lb chocolate lab. He is enormous, but so gentle. As soon as Thelma got out of the car they started playing, and when I called Jean on Sunday, she told me they haven't stopped playing since. They seem to get along really well. It was very emotional for me, but I knew as soon as she jumped out of the van she would be happier there then she ever could be at our house. She can run the island with Hunter (the lab) and the other neighborhood dogs and swim in a pond and the ocean daily. Talk about a doggie heaven:)

Here are a few pictures digging in my flower garden and then in the house before we brought her there, and then playing with Hunter.
