photos...

Since we conceived via IVF, we are lucky to have some pretty amazing photos of our future babies, starting as early as three days post conception (the day of the transfer). They were about 8 cells each at this point.

Our first ultrasound was at 6 weeks 2 days. This is when we knew there were TWO embryos! And we heard the heart beats for the first time. They weren't quite on "track" at this point, so we scheduled another ultrasound for 8 weeks.

These two photos (above and below) show the heart rates for each embryo. (at 6 weeks).

The photo below is at 8 weeks! The heart rates and measurements looked better at this point.

I just had an appointment this week, and saw them again. I had one bouncy fetus and one relaxing. The Dr said they look fine. I am at 11 weeks tomorrow, and although we are still pretty far away from 40 weeks, we are excited! The next big step is an anatomy ultrasound at 18 weeks. I'm also starting to feel a lot better, YEA!!! The sickness is pretty much gone. I got out in the yard and did a lot of weeding and planting yesterday, so I am making progress.

Other than baby info, Thelma has explosive diarrhea, YUCK!! Thank goodness it has all been outside. We think she may have eaten some mold or mushrooms outside on Friday. I have been feeding her rice, so hopefully she will be better by tomorrow!
